Love Island 2023 Is Set To Hit Our TV Screens in Just 6 Weeks

The winter edition of Love Island, which is set to take place in South Africa, is set to hit our TV screens again in less than 6 weeks. This is only the second time we've had a winter edition, after the winter edition started in January 2020 but then had to be cancelled in January 2021 due to Covid.

Presenter Maya Jama will also be taking over the job of presenting the show after Laura Whitmore recently stepped down after two years. The third Monday in January has been dubbed 'Blue Monday' as, apparently, each year, this is the most depressing day of the year according to polls and studies. Therefore, the producers of the ITV show decided this would be an excellent day to kick off their winter Love Island series and cheer everyone up.

The show will be in a secluded mansion in the protected 'Franschhoek wine valley'. 2023 will be the show's 9th year on air, and it has carved many famous careers. Take a look at stars such as Molly-Mae, Ekin-Su, and Olivia Bowen, who now all have successful careers promoting brands, modelling, and starting up their own businesses. These are just a few names estimated to be raking in millions each year.

Here is the gorgeous Maya Jama, who will be presenting the show:
