Andrew Tate is an American-British, former kickboxer. After finishing his kickboxing career, Tate moved onto social media and has since taken social media, particularly TikTok, by storm. Tate has also taken part in the show Big Brother in the past.
However, he hasn't claimed fame in a good way. Andrew posts videos which show an utterly hateful attitude towards women. He talks about women being a man's property, how women who've been raped should bear some of the responsibility... and even says that part of the reason he now lives in Romania is that it's easier to get away with rape there.
Tate boasts 4.4 million followers on Instagram and has racked up billions of views on TikTok. He appeals to his audience of other males by showing them that he lives a supposedly extravagant lifestyle and claims he can teach them how to make fortunes and sleep with women. It has been argued that at one time, Andrew Tate had 9 girlfriends at once.
