Beyonce and Jay-Z: 23 years together.. The Good and The Bad
Beyonce was 18 and Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) was 30. Beyonce has admitted that it took her longer to fall for Jay-Z, that he did for her, and that she wouldn't marry him before the age of 25, in case she changed her mind with age. The couple have displayed much of their life across the public eye, apart from their 2008 marriage which they kept a secret at the time.
In 2012 Beyonce gave birth to their first child Blue-Ivy, however, she did open up in an interview the following year, revealing that she miscarried before falling pregnant with their daughter Blue. However, trouble came in paradise, when a clip emerged of Beyonce's older sister Solange attacking Jay-Z in a lift at the 2014 Met Gala. Fans beleived it was linked the rumours that Jay-Z had cheater on Beyonce. They released a statment saying they had worked things out in the family, and ay-Z and solange were sorry for the public seeing their private matters.
In 2016, Beyonce released an explosive album named Lemonade, and to fans, this confirmed she had definitely been cheated on. Jay-Z also wrote his own song, and did an interview, saying how sorry he was for causing pain to someone he loves. However, neither of the couple have ever fully confirmed the cheating or the details.
In 2017, the couple announced that they were expecting twins. In June 2017, Beyonce gave birth to a son and daughter, Rumi and Sir. Earlier this year, Beyonce became the highest grammy-award artist of all time.
It seems that everything is going great for the couple now, as they celebrate 15 years of marriage this year.
